ChemDAQ Sensors

ChemDAQ sensors set the standard for performance in chemical vapor monitoring and detection, outperforming other available options when it comes to accuracy and reliability. To maximize accuracy, ChemDAQ employs our patented Spot-On™ filter technology to remove interfering gases and vapors, preventing false alarms – a common area of concern for safety and workplace hygiene professionals.

ChemDAQ’s Steri-Trac® and E-Cell Sensors are designed to accurately detect chemical vapor levels of ethylene oxide - EtO, hydrogen peroxide - H2O2, and peracetic acid - PAA.

In food and beverage processing and packaging, hydrogen peroxide - H2O2- and peracetic acid - PAA are used to clean and sanitize packaging, equipment, and surfaces.

In protein processing operations, peracetic acid is primarily used as an antimicrobial to control bacteria on poultry and meats.

In the medical device industry and healthcare settings, these chemicals are used for sterilization and high-level disinfection of medical products that come into contact with patients.

Intrinsically safe
For medical device sterilization operations, ChemDAQ’s Steri-Trac Sensor is designed specifically for sub parts per million detection of ethylene oxide - EtO, oxygen, and lower explosive limits for intrinsically safe environments – often a requirement for sterilization facilities.

Sensor Exchange Program (SXP®)

Sensors require occasional calibration.  This can create challenges – as well as headaches – for the individuals responsible for keeping these systems performing at their best. ChemDAQ’s Sensor Exchange Program makes it easy to be sure your readings are accurate, reliable and precise.  Approximately every four months you’ll receive calibrated sensors that you’ll simply swap with the ones you currently have.  A pre-paid return shipping label for the sensors you replaced is also included.
